This is your chance to run and cycle around one of the country's finest stretches of tarmac - Oulton Park Motor Racing Circuit. The Spring, standard distance race is an ETU European and ITU World Championships qualifier.
Event Details
A duathlon around the famous Oulton Park Race Track.There will be both a sprint race and a standard distance race.
The standard distance duathlon is an ETU European and ITU World Championship qualifying race.
Whilst the standard distance race is an ITU World Championships qualifier, novice entries are still very welcome.
Sprint - run 1 lap, cycle 5 laps, run 1 lap
Standard - run 2 laps, cycle 9 laps, run 1 lap
The race will start on the starting grid and transition will be in the pits for both races. The event will benefit from numbered racking and electronic chip timing.
ETU European Duathlon Championships 2012 – Qualifier Status
We have had communication from the ETU confirming the date of the European Duathlon Champs, which are to be held on the 29th April alongside Powerman Holland. This event is not a standard distance Duathlon, it is longer, therefore it has a different entry process. The ETU are not asking national federations to nominate a team, individuals are allowed to enter and from there they are nominated. Please contact the BTF for more information.
