Five Triathlons

The XME Tri Sprint Series is a series of five pool-based triathlons of sprint distance. The series takes place around the North West of England.

Series Winners & Prizes

Prizes will be awarded for:

• Overall Winning Male
• Overall Winning Female

Points System

Competitors must race at least two of the five XME Tri Sprint Series races to be eligible.

Series points system:

• 1st place = 10 points
• 2nd place = 8 points
• 3rd place = 6 points
• 4th place = 4 points
• 5th place = 2 points

In addition there will the following bonus points added to your total if you compete in a number of events i.e.

• One race - No bonus points
• Two races - one bonus points
• Three races - Two bonus points
• Four races - Three bonus points
• Five races - Four bonus points

For example, if you come first place in three races you will score 10+10+10+2 bonus points = 32. If you come second place in four events your score is 8+8+8+8+3 bonus points = 35

Prizes at Each Event

Regardless of whom the overall winner is, prizes will still be awarded at each event for:

• Overall winner (male and female)
• British Triathlon age-group category winners (male and female)
• First Novice (male and female)

League Table

A league table will be published, and updated after each event, in the Event Results pages, showing competitors' positions, to date.
