2009 is set to be an exciting year for Xtra Mile Events with our programme more than doubling in size: The ever-popular indoor pool-based triathlons will feature again: great for novices and sprint distance enthusiasts. Other highlights will include the Llandudno Conwy Triathlon with its sea swim and glorious vista on the bike and run routes; new triathlons in Yorkshire, the first ever VUE National Emergency Services Triathlon Championships; and the final BTF Mazda National Ranking Championship Duathlon at Oulton Park Race Track in the autumn.

At these events you will find stalls offering anything from all the latest equipment to advice on training, nutrition and race preparation. We also have bike mechanics, pre- and post-massage, numbered bike racking, official race photographer, race commentators, and music to keep you motivated! All a multi-sport athlete needs to go the Xtra Mile!
